Why do you do what you do?
Mentoring is a way to enable people to develop critical thinking, so that they become creative problem solvers and innovators. Though Mentored Pathways, we’ve mentored over 50,000 students. The program founded by HP in 1995, spun off as a nonprofit. World Mentor was an outgrowth, and our latest innovation is a new program based on over 23 years of experience, called Mentored Pathways. Over those 23 years, we’ve mentored over 50,000 proteges in the United States, with mentors from over 30 countries. We serve and focus on STEM, liberal arts, and myriad areas of expertise, and have built partnerships with numerous organizations around the globe. One of the many benefits of mentoring is learning writing, communication, team work; soft skills that companies look for when hiring.
